Appleton, WI — On Monday, September 30, 2024, WSI was recognized by EcoVadis for its corporate social responsibility efforts, placing the 3PL among the top 35% of logistics companies worldwide. Ecovadis is a globally respected provider of ethical, social, and environmental sustainability performance ratings.
As companies increasingly prioritize sustainability and corporate responsibility, WSI recognized the importance of formally assessing its practices. In 2021, WSI completed its first round of EcoVadis submissions, carefully documenting and measuring performance in key areas, including Ethics, Labor and Human Rights, Environmental Policy, and Sustainable Procurement practices.

In recent years, the 3PL has undertaken several initiatives to enhance its performance, including upgrading purchasing and procurement policies, implementing an updated waste reduction program, improving recycling efforts, and launching an energy consumption measurement plan to identify energy-saving opportunities. As WSI continues to innovate and grow, its commitment to corporate responsibility will remain a guiding force, strengthening partnerships with customers, vendors, suppliers and the communities it serves.
